General Information on Data Processing

Personal data of users are generally collected and used on this website only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services.

Personal data are information that can be individually assigned to you. This includes, for example, your name, email address, home address, gender, date of birth, phone number, and IP address. Non-personal data are details such as the number of users of a website.

Collection and Storage of Personal Data

1. When visiting our website

When you use our website informatively, i.e., if you do not otherwise transmit information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to our server (so- called “server log files”). When you access our website, we collect the following data that is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:

- Shortened IP address and hostname

- Date and time of access

- Duration of visit

- Amount of data sent in bytes

- Source/reference from which you accessed the site

- Browser used

- Operating system used

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website. The stored data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, unless there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on specific evidence and further examination and processing of the information is required for this reason. In any case, automatic deletion occurs three months after the initial storage of this data.

2. When using the contact form through our ombudsman

When using the contact form, you can contact our ombudsman directly. You have the option to report concerns, grievances, and information to an independent ombudsman. The ombudsman analyzes the report, informs us of the analysis result, and, if necessary, provides us with a recommendation for action. This is not a reporting channel within the meaning of a whistleblower system under the Whistleblower Protection Act (HSchG). It is exclusively an additional reporting point for the professional and standardized processing of communications.

Our ombudsman collects the personal data you provide in the form. The data collected are those indicated in the (contact) form, including the contact details you voluntarily provide in the form or in an email. Your data may be forwarded to us by the ombudsman in the context of communicating the analysis result. These data are stored and used exclusively for the purpose of responding to and processing your concern by our ombudsman and us. The legal basis for processing these data is the legitimate interest in responding to and processing your report in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Your data will be deleted after your request has been fully processed. This is the case when it can be inferred from the circumstances that the relevant matter has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no legal retention obligations.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The collection and use of personal data of our users regularly take place only after the user's consent. Where consent is obtained from the data subject for the processing operations of personal data, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO serves as the legal basis. An exception applies in cases where prior consent is not possible for practical reasons and the processing of data is permitted by law.

Where the processing of personal data is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation to which we are subject, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO serves as the legal basis. If the processing is necessary to protect a legitimate interest of our company or a third party, and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override the former interest, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO serves as the legal basis.

Storage Duration

Your personal data will be deleted as soon as the respective purpose for the processing has been achieved or ceases to exist, unless there are further legal obligations for processing.

Furthermore, personal data necessary for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims will be stored. These data will be deleted at the latest upon expiration of the statute of limitations (usually three years).

Cookies are small text files that are sent when visiting a website and stored on the user's and/or customer’s hard drive. If the corresponding server of our website is accessed again by the user and/or customer of the website, the user’s and/or customer’s browser sends the previously received cookie back to the server. The server can then evaluate the information obtained through this procedure in various ways. For example, cookies can be used to control advertisements or facilitate navigation on a website.

If you as a user of the website and/or customer want to prevent the use of cookies, you can do so by locally changing the settings of your Internet browser, the program used to open and display websites (e.g., Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Safari)

To the extent that cookies are not required for our online offering, we ask for your consent to the use of cookies when you first access the online offer. The legal basis for the associated data processing, including any data transfer, is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO. Please note that if you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be limited.

Rights of Data Subjects

Regarding your personal data, you generally have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15 to 21 DSGVO).

If the legality of data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke the consent at any time. The revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out based on the consent until the revocation (Art. 7 Para. 3 DSGVO).

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in another way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority:
